Updates

We are currently covering a timeline of October 1st - December 20th. We do not add years so that the characters can remain the same age for as long as the players want.

Welcome to X-Men After the Chaos!

We are an AU Movie game set 7 years after X 3 where only X-Men 1, 2, and loosely 3 are canon.

It has been seven years since the humans tried to cure the mutant gene like it was a virus. The mutants survived and so has the world. Life has gone on. Relationships forged, enemies became allies, and new heroes were created. Still there has never really been any peace and there is always fear and Chaos. Mutants tossed away by society are disappearing all of the US, entire colonies gone over night without a trace. Is this just the beginning of the act the Government is trying to pass against the mutants or is something else going on?

X-Men: After the Chaos is a movie based RPG, taking place 7 Years after X-Men: The Last Stand, although we have made a few changes to continuity for the sake of sanity.

After the events of Alcatraz island, all seemed lost. Charles Xavier, Jean Grey, and Scott Summers were presumed dead, the students were scattered, some taking the ‘cure’ being administered, and the school seemed barely hanging on. After The Professor, Jean, and Scott were found to be alive without any memory of what happened or how they somehow survived their deaths the school reopened its doors and the staff began to once again look for more students to join those who had stayed.

The Mutant Registration act was on the back burner in light of the cure, but once the source of it, a young boy named Leech, was removed from their prison, scientists once more scrambled to find a new method of disabling the powered. While some politicians continued to tout the MRA, enough opposition kept the Act from ever fully coming into light. Still, the threat is there.

The cure itself was not what it was promised, and after a year the mutant abilities began returning to those who had taken it. After effects were varied, with some of those who were powerless in the face of their mutations having limited bursts of new found control, while others were unable to reach the full potential of the powers they had once had access to. Eventually, the Cure wore off completely, and due to an immunity, could not be applied.
