When: November 10th, early morning
Where: By Breakstone Lake
Keila's days and nights were still a mess from moving from the middle-east, so she decided to run in the morning rather than the evening. The sun was coming up, and it was chilly, but her hoodie kept her warm, at least while she was moving. It was incentive not to stop, as her bare legs would certainly suffer if she did.
She held a steady pace, breezing along and enjoying the fall leaves as they crunched under her feet with her passing. Her home didn't have many trees, at least not where she'd lived. What there was had been mostly scrub pine and similar hardy species that did well in a semi-arid location.
The colors here were so vivid, they were like something out of a dream.
